Introduced exclusive Bentley Continental GTSeptember 30, 2019
This unique Bentley Continental GT is dressed in livery from the Icelanding art exhibition Catherine Fredericks under the name “Speed of Light – Commander”, and until October 7 will be presented in the world’s oldest dealer center – Jack Barclay Bentley.
After that, it will be on display at special events at the JD Malat Gallery, allowing visitors to enjoy the so-called frequency between black and white, or what Frederick herself calls the “gray zone”.
“I am very pleased to work with Jack Barclay Bentley to create this unique automotive work of art. This is the perfect combination of the cornerstones of my art – the epitome of speed and energy, design, craftsmanship, precision and the pursuit of excellence, ” – said the Icelandic artist.
The play of colors allows the car’s bold lines to pass through energetic fluid forms, while abstract organic forms echo the elegant Continental GT design, adding a sense of movement. Ahead there are traces of flow that accelerate in the direction of “spray paint” on the rear panel, which makes the car look different depending on the selected viewing angle.
In addition to its pretentious appearance, this Continental GT is also the proud owner of the 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbocharged gasoline engine, which apparently has not been modified, i.e. it still produces 626 hp. and 900 Nm of torque. Despite the weight of 2,250 kg, the luxurious Grand Tourer can accelerate to 100 km / h in just 3.7 seconds, and then reach a top speed of 333 km / h.
