After the update, the popular Japanese SUV received a number of cosmetic improvements, and also changed in the technical part.
Subaru has unveiled the updated Forester crossover. Currently, only the right-hand drive version for the brand’s home market has been declassified. The debut of the left-hand drive SUV was promised to be organized in the near future
After the update, the crossover received a new front bumper, an enlarged grille, LED optics of a more interesting shape, as well as new wheels with a striking design. The redesigned suspension received sportier settings, and for the hybrids, the Japanese prepared the e-active shift control system for quick gear shifting.
The automaker also worked on the efficiency of the EyeSight semi-autopilot. Smart electronics are now able to track sharper turns and control stopped vehicles over short distances.
During the restyling, they did not touch the motor line.
In Japan, the current crossover is offered with a two-liter 150-horsepower gasoline engine, an e-Boxer hybrid, which includes a 145-horsepower two-liter gasoline engine and a 16-horsepower electric motor, as well as a 177-horsepower turbo engine with a displacement of 1.8 liters. All power units are combined with a variator, and the drive is full.
