BMW Motorrad showcased the updated S 1000 R.
The novelty has received a sportier style, improved technology and a different motor. In addition, it was equipped with new LED lights and turn signals. The bike will also be offered with an M kit, which, together with carbon fiber wheels, contributes to a 3.7 kg weight reduction.
The novelty, in particular, received a flexible frame, which is lightweight and provides a more comfortable ride, as well as a different exhaust. In addition, the bike is equipped with a new 6.5-inch digital instrument panel, which is designed to provide good visibility even in low light. The display also supports app-based navigation via Bluetooth.
As for the technical equipment of the updated S 1000 R, it is equipped with a 4-cylinder 163 hp (114 Nm) engine. Although performance remains the same, the motor is five kilograms lighter. In addition, the novelty has received a new system that can regulate the torque.
The updated BMW S 1000 R should appear at German dealerships in May this year at a cost of 14,368 euros
In addition, some time ago it was noted that the Italian company Engine Engineering is developing the Benelli 302 motorcycle, which is almost an exact copy of the American Harley XR338. It took only 120 days to create a prototype of the novelty.
