Inkas introduced the armored SUV Infiniti QX80May 17, 2020
After the creation of the armored version of the Japanese SUV Infiniti QX80 experts from the Canadian company Inkas have worked, the machine can withstand rifle bullets and hand grenades.
The company Inkas, which is located in the city of Toronto, Canada, is widely known for the production of armored vehicles and in particular the line of armored SUVs Sentry. These “post-apocalyptic” machines are ready to take any blow – bullets, hand grenades, etc.
According to the representatives of Inkas, their upgraded luxury QX80 SUV can withstand the impact of up to two DM51 hand grenades exploding simultaneously – the car received ballistic protection BR6.
As for bullets, ammunition up to 7.62 mm assault rifles, for example, from the AK-47, should not penetrate the body and glass windows. The battery and electronic control module receive separate protection, while door hinges, suspension and other important structural elements are reinforced to withstand any kind of attack. Even the tires received protection.
It should be noted that the luxury SUV built on the basis of the Nissan Armada / Patrol comes with a 5.6 liter V8 engine. Additional equipment for this version of the SUV includes a light “package” of armor, an emergency lighting system, a fire extinguishing system, heavy duty brakes and wheels, as well as a siren / speaker system.
The price of the Inkar-Armored Infiniti QX80 is not listed on the site, but it is expected to be very large – somewhere within the six-digit price indicator.
