Japanese brand will bring to the Detroit Auto Show QX Inspiration electric crossover, the serial version of which could compete with the Tesla Model X
Infiniti has published the first photo of the conceptual crossover QX Inspiration, designed to demonstrate the new design direction of the Japanese brand. The prototype will premiere in mid-January at the Detroit Auto Show.
First of all, the crossover shows how electric sports-oriented cars of the brand can turn out. The novelty has received narrow LED headlamps, as well as an illuminated false radiator grille with the logo and brand name. Other notable features include external cameras that will replace traditional side mirrors, as well as massive wheel arches.
Infiniti QX Inspiration is built on a completely new platform, specially designed for models with all-electric power plants. Technical characteristics of the novelty is not yet given, but such a car could compete, for example, Tesla Model X.
Earlier, Infiniti officially announced that it will release the first production electric car in 2021. The model, which is built on a completely new platform, will be primarily focused on the Chinese market.
