Infiniti showed a video teaser of the new crossover QX60March 1, 2021
The press service of the Japanese automobile brand Infiniti presented the world with a teaser video of its new QX60 crossover of the second generation. The video is presented on the official channel of the video hosting company YouTube.
The official premiere of the new crossover is scheduled for 2021. The video talks about the traction characteristics of the Japanese car, which have been upgraded by 20% thanks to a new gearbox.
According to preliminary data, the updated Infiniti QX60 will still be driven by a 3.5-liter 6-cylinder power unit with a capacity of 299 hp, but the transmission will be different. If before there was a variator, now the new model will work with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The new car will receive an improved transmission cooling system, a uniquely tuned dynamic stabilization system, and a reinforced hitch.
Earlier, Infiniti representatives talked about testing the new QX60 in the United States, where the car was tested in extreme conditions, including wild heat and severe frost. The company’s test team spent over a thousand hours at the steering wheel of the new model, driving in various conditions to identify any problems.
The premiere of the second Infiniti QX60 is scheduled for this spring. The model will also be presented at the Russian car market, but the exact timing of the start of implementation has not yet been announced.
