Infiniti QX80 SUV received an extreme versionOctober 11, 2020
The premium Japanese SUV Infiniti QX80 was redesigned by Calmini Products Inc.
The Californians have created a car that can take part in cross-country rallies. To prevent the Infiniti QX80 from failing on the track, it was equipped with reinforced bumpers, which, by the way, did not spoil the spectacular design of the SUV. The QX80 also received 18-inch wheels and special off-road tires.
The upgrade also touched on the technical filling: new shock absorbers capable of handling serious loads, reinforced control levers, etc. The ground clearance of the SUV has become larger, the volume of the air tank for pumping rubber has also grown – this process was entrusted to electronics.
The list of equipment of the one of a kind rally Infiniti QX80 is complemented by a special computer, two “spare wheels”, towing belts, etc. The SUV is driven by a factory engine: a 5.6-liter V8, producing 400 horsepower. The gearbox is a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The car was created specifically for the rally, which will take place on 17 October.
The Infiniti QX60 SUV was spotted earlier in the test. The car was hidden by a dense layer of camouflage, nevertheless, some conclusions about the front of the car were drawn. A large screen of the multimedia complex will appear in the car interior.
