The new Volkswagen Tacqua crossover was created on the basis of the Volkswagen Polo and eventually became known as the converted version of the VW T-Cross. Its sales will begin in December, and while the novelty begins its march through dealerships. From the “donor” Tacqua differs externally and in technical equipment. This compact cross receives new bumpers, improved optics of the original form, and in the top versions there is a spectacular off-road kit. But in terms of interior decoration, these two models are similar.
The Volkswagen Tacqua engine range includes a one and a half liter 113-horsepower aspirated, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, and a 150-horsepower turbo engine that works in conjunction with the DGS7 robot. The drive here is a non-alternative front.
The manufacturer supplied the novelty with a wide range of options and equipment: adaptive cruise control, 2-zone climate control, modern multimedia with a large touchscreen, 18-inch alloy wheels, leather interior, panoramic sunroof, etc. According to preliminary data, the price of the novelty in China will start at 127,900 yuan. The production of new items is a joint venture between FAW and Volkswagen.
