Hyundai announced the start of sales of the new generation Grand i10. The model not only noticeably changed externally, but also received an updated motor range and even a changed name.
The next-generation Hyundai Grand i10 hatchback became available for purchase. After the change of generations, this budget “five-door” received the prefix “Nios” in the name. The length of the updated model reaches 3,805 mm, the width is 1,680 mm, the height is 1,520 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,450 mm. The appearance of the new product, which has now received a two-tone body color, resembles the “younger” Santro. Inside the car, we see modified ventilation deflectors, a modified front panel, a new steering wheel, as well as an upgraded climate control unit and modified door cards.
Under the hood of the Grand i10 Nios, a 1.2-liter Kappa 83-liter petrol aspirated can be hidden. or a 3-cylinder 75-horsepower 1.2-liter diesel engine. A pair of them are five-speed manual transmission or “robot” from Hyundai Santro.
Already in the “base” the hatchback receives two airbags, ABS and EBD, rear parking sensors, manual air conditioning, etc. For cars with a gasoline engine in Indian car dealerships, you will have to pay from 499,990 rupees and the hatchback for diesel fuel will cost more – from 671,000 rupees. By the way, the Hyundai Grand i10 can be purchased in Europe, only local motorists know it with a completely different appearance, motors and sizes. They promise to show the new generation of this model at the September Frankfurt Motor Show.
