Dongfeng has started selling an updated version of the T5 crossover. In addition to the standard version, the long-wheelbase T5L modification also went on sale. The car is in many ways similar to the latest generation French cross Renault Koleos. Dongfeng T5 received dimensions of 4550x1825x1725 mm with a wheelbase of 2 720 mm. For the T5L modification, the length is 230 mm longer and reaches 4,780 mm.
The engine range consists of two turbocharged power units – the base one with a 1.5-liter volume is capable of delivering 150 hp, and the more powerful 1.6-liter engine has a return of 204 hp. As a transmission, depending on the configuration, a 6-speed manual transmission or a classic “automatic” is used. Front-wheel drive on an uncontested basis.
