Indians showed in Europe right-hand sedan on electric tractionMarch 7, 2018
The company Tata introduced a prototype right-handed premium saloon with an electric power unit. The concept car is called EVision Sedan. He was shown at the Motor Show in Geneva.
The concept car was built using the Omega EV modular architecture, but the Indians did not provide any technical data about the car. The company noted only that the management of the distribution of energy in the prototype is based on data on the route and the traffic situation, and the concept car batteries can be “refueled” using a fast charging station.
The prototype received adjustable rear seats and two screens on the center console that open, if necessary. In addition, under the central console is free space, which, according to the creators of EVision Sedan, adds “a sense of space and luxury.”
The plans to develop a production version of such a concept car in Tata did not provide any information.
Previously, the company Tata introduced the conceptual crossover H5X. This prototype was built on the platform LR-MS (D8), which also underlies the all-terrain Land Rover Discovery Sport and Jaguar E-Pace.
