In the USA, flying cars will be able to move on the roadsAugust 1, 2020
The authorities of New Hampshire, USA passed a law according to which flying cars will be able to move on state roads as soon as such vehicles come out.
At the same time, in the document itself, in fact, there is no mention of the fact that it is legal to climb into the sky with a flying car. But it establishes ground traffic rules for them, for example, the law does not provide an opportunity for them to take off or land on ordinary roads. In addition, the document notes that currently there are no flying cars yet, and the acquisition of such a machine is impossible.
But as soon as flying vehicles actually go on sale, the law will take effect and allow them to travel on state highways, which, as lawmakers note, was previously illegal.
Jeff Rapsis, who is the executive director of the State Aviation Museum, told the press that the first flying cars are likely to be alien to traffic jams, and the owners of conventional cars will take time to get used to this mode of transport.
In addition, it was recently noted that Toyota will spend approximately $ 400 million on flying taxis. The Japanese corporation is going to join forces with the company Joby Aviation, which specializes in the creation and production of flying vehicles.
