In the USA, a fish falling from the sky smashed into the windshield of a carDecember 28, 2019
What surprises sometimes nature does not bring to motorists: animals crossing the road can cause trouble out of the blue. But sometimes such situations happen that it is simply impossible to predict.
According to the American television channel CBS 17, North Carolina resident Rhys Walston calmly drove home from her mother, when she suddenly noticed a large bird of prey clutching a catfish in the sky. “I thought it was a big fish, even for a hawk. And then the bird dropped it right on my windshield, and it broke, ”she told reporters.
The blow was so strong that the windshield did not just shatter, but shattered, and its fragments flew into the passenger compartment of the car, in which was the three-year-old daughter Rhys Walston. However, she was sitting in the back seat and did not seem to understand what was going on. “She wasn’t even scared,” said Walston.
The woman managed to maintain her composure and calmly stop the car, later she called insurers so that they had no doubt about what had happened. The search for fish began, but could not immediately be found. As it turned out, she was thrown far enough from a strong blow.
The news story reports that the catfish dropped a bald eagle depicted in many US state symbols on the car. It’s terrible even to imagine what would happen if Rhys Walston was not riding a crossover, but a convertible, or else a motorcyclist or cyclist would have appeared on the path of a catfish falling from the sky.
