In the United States will restore the longest limousine on the planetMay 13, 2020
Mention of this unique car with a jacuzzi and a helipad can be found in the Guinness Book of Records. The length of this limousine exceeds the mark of 30 meters.
The longest car on the planet – a limousine called American Dream – is going to be restored. The American Mike Manning, who has already embarked on this laborious job, undertook the restoration of the car. The American Dream limousine was created in the 90s of the last century by customizer Jay Orberg. To achieve record lengths, he took a pair of 1976 model year Cadillac Eldorado limos and combined them into one car. This required 26 wheels and two engines at once. As a result, it was possible to achieve a length of 30.5 meters.
Thanks to this, the limousine was able to equip a jacuzzi, swimming pool, mini-golf course and even a helipad.
Before Manning took the limousine, he was kept at the Autoseum Museum warehouse. Over the years, the car body pretty rusted, the number of wheels decreased, and individual body parts were missing (front bumper, headlight). The American plans to spend a year on the restoration of the limousine, completing his grandiose project by next spring.
