In Monterey, Pebble Beach has begun the next car week, in the framework of which the BMW conference has already taken place. The manufacturer introduced his own concept of the electric sports car BMW Vision M Next, and also spoke about the importance of electrification in the modern world. Recall that the model debuted in June as part of the NextGen special event, and now went on a tour around the world.
BMW has not yet announced official information on the serial production of the new item. Nonetheless, rumors indicate the launch of mass production in 2023. BMW Vision M Next will be the first step of the Bavarians to a full-fledged electric car with the emblem of the sports division M.
At the moment, the concept is based on a 2.0-liter turbo engine, paired with two electric motors. The total capacity of the installation is 600 horsepower. Moreover, the driver will be able to choose between four-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive.
