The accident occurred back in 2013. Muhammad al-Qahtani, while driving an SUV, accelerated to 200 km per hour. Being in a state of intoxication, he failed to manage and rammed another car, in which a family of seven went.
As a result of the incident, six people died on the spot. The little girl suffered serious injuries, but was able to survive. The perpetrator of the accident was sentenced to death by a decision of the authorities, which was carried out in Riyadh. Prior to this, the lawyers of the driver tried repeatedly to appeal the verdict.
