In Netflix called the date of the premiere of the series about Formula 1February 20, 2019
The company Netflix, the creator of the first ever documentary series about Formula 1, announced that its premiere will be held on March 8.
The Drive To Survive series, dedicated to last season, consists of 10 episodes and gives fans the opportunity not only to follow the fight for the title from the first to the last race of the season, but also to see the personal life of their idols, what is happening inside the teams, and get to know people, thanks to whose work we know Formula 1 for what it is.
Jan Holmes, head of the international broadcasting rights department: “Entering the new era in Formula 1, we are pleased to announce the release of our documentary multi-part film Formula 1: Drive to Survive. This unique series is dedicated to the World Cup and shows what remains behind the scenes – untold stories that took place on the track and beyond. Working with Netflix to create this original series will help us attract the attention of new fans. ”
Paul Martin, spokesman for Box to Box Films: “Netflix has become the perfect platform for a story about what is happening behind the scenes of this amazing sport. Formula 1 has long been a world of bright personalities and high self-esteem, these dramas and exciting events, victories and tragedies, but so far most of this world has been hidden from fans and is shrouded in mystery. Our series gives viewers access to this world and shows what it means to live, work and perform in the fastest sport in the world. ”
