In Germany, doubled bonuses for the purchase of electric vehiclesJuly 9, 2020
It is reported by the German publication Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten.
The German government will increase premiums for the purchase of environmentally friendly cars. In essence, the payments doubled. Thus, the owner can get up to 6,750 euros for the purchase of a hybrid car. In fact, such a machine still has an internal combustion engine, from which it almost always works, but according to the documents, such a vehicle is still considered environmentally friendly.
When buying an electric car, the owner has the right to expect compensation up to 9,000 euros. At the same time, such payments will also apply to cars purchased after November 2019. It is worth noting that payments will end at the end of 2021.
The decision to double bonuses for the purchase of environmentally friendly vehicles was made as part of economic incentives for the automotive industry. In addition, for automakers producing cars with gasoline and diesel engines, value added tax compensation is provided.
