The German company Unicat on Tuesday, April 21, demonstrated a motorhome, which has 3 driving axles.

The device under the MD56c index is based on the MAN TGS chassis with a 6×6 wheel arrangement. It is equipped with a 540-horsepower engine, along with which a 12-band robotic transmission functions. The total amount of fuel in two tanks is 980 liters – this should be enough for more than 3,000 km.

In the cabin, much has been redone for a comfortable long journey in any weather. She acquired additional noise and heat insulation, additional climate control, and heated driver and passenger seats with leather and Alcantara. For orientation in space, the modern Garmin navigation system is responsible, and the image from external cameras can be displayed on the panel display.

¬†Well, the main thing in such a car is, of course, a residential module, which has a length of 5.6 m and a width of 2.48 m. The internal height is 1.95 m. A steep folding staircase leads to the front door. Immediately behind it is the living room area with two longitudinal sofas and a table, which is lowered at night by electric drive, combining the seats in a berth measuring 140×200 cm.

To the left of the entrance there is a kitchen with an induction hob, fridge, sink and even a dishwasher. Opposite there is a separate bathroom with a toilet and a separate shower. At the back there is a stationary berth measuring 160×200 cm.

The furniture frame is made of bamboo, the flooring is made of ship teak. Well, all the seats, by analogy with the cabin, are sheathed in leather and Alcantara. For the power supply of the residential module, solar panels on the roof, as well as an additional Honda generator, are responsible. For water supply – frost-resistant fresh water tanks with a total volume of 600 liters, and another 285-liter tank for dirty water and waste. With such equipment, the motorhome can exist completely offline for at least several weeks.

Curb weight of the house on wheels reaches 19.8 tons, which makes it possible to load luggage for another 3.2 tons. In particular, the motorhome has a lifting platform 1.9 meters long in the rear overhang.

Developed by MD56c so far in a single copy for a specific customer. The cost of the caravan is not disclosed, while it is known that it is a 7-digit number in euros.
