In Geneva will show the updated coupe Porsche 911 Turbo SFebruary 13, 2020
The official presentation of the new version of the German sports coupe Porsche 911 Turbo S may take place at the Geneva Motor Show, which will begin its work in March this year. Power news will be at least 620 horsepower.
According to a new report published by the foreign edition of Autocar, the German company is going to present updated versions of the 911 sports coupe – Turbo and Turbo S. The presentation should take place in about three weeks at the Geneva Motor Show 2020. They say that the new items have a common 3.8-liter “six” with larger turbochargers, the power of which will be 570 horsepower in the case of the standard Turbo, and at least 620 hp. for the more powerful Turbo S. Earlier it was reported that the S-version can get even 641 hp.
These are amazing numbers and significant improvements over the previous 911 Turbo and Turbo S, which had 540 and 580 hp. respectively.
New items will visually differ from their predecessors with their chunky rear wheel arches and a special bumper design, as well as a unique set of rims.
Both Turbo models will feature an all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The more productive of them will also be equipped with all-wheel drive and large carbon-ceramic brake rotors behind 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. Porsche developed the Turbo S with an open front differential and electronically controlled limited slip differential at the rear, with a hydraulically controlled central limited slip differential.
