In Geneva, will show a strange gig Touring SciadipersiaMarch 6, 2019
It is reported that the Italian new Touring Superleggera will be produced in just 15 copies.
Italian bus builder – the company Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, which again resumed its livelihoods in 2009, decided to make a spectacular show at the international motor show that is currently taking place in Geneva. After the presentation of the Sciadipersia Coupe at last year’s show in Switzerland, the company now decided to show a version of the car with an open top – the novelty was named the Sciadipersia Cabriolet.
The convertible is based on the Italian Maserati GranTurismo Convertible. According to the automaker from Milan, this is “an ideal starting point with its characteristics and it is ideal for a project.”
The external lines of the Sciadipersia cabriolet are almost identical to the original forms with the only exception – the lack of a hard top.
The guys from Touring Sciadipersia say that the overall look of the car is inspired by the “Golden Age of Automotive with a classic and timeless design that continues to set its standards.” The convertible seats four passengers into four full-size seats and is shod in 20-inch rims.
Under the long bonnet is a naturally aspirated V8 engine with a power of 460 hp. The motor transmits power to the rear wheels through a 6-step ZF “automatic” and provides acceleration to the first hundred in about five seconds. The maximum speed is 288 km / h.
In total, no more than 15 copies of the model will be produced, each of which will be fully assembled by hand at the company’s plant near Milan. Pricing information is not available.
