In Chicago, presented an updated crossover Chevy EquinoxFebruary 6, 2020
The official presentation of the mid-size crossover Chevy Equinox was held at the Chicago Motor Show (USA). The car received an updated design and RS trim, which received dark accents throughout the body and a high-performance exhaust system.
For the first time, we saw a new version of the Chevy Equinox crossover at the beginning of the year, when images of new items appeared on the Internet thanks to Chinese media. Those photos depicted a version of the model that is intended for the Chinese automobile market, but it is not surprising that the North American version of this 2021 SUV looks almost the same. The presentation of the car was held at the Chicago Motor Show (USA).
Generally speaking, the changes in the external style are quite “subtle”, but there are also significant changes. In particular, the headlights, which are now divided into two parts.
The modified false radiator grill now extends along the sides of the front panel and halves the headlights to give the Equinox a pretty interesting look. Chevy has revised the taillight graphics.
The biggest news regarding the 2021 Equinox crossover is the new RS trim, which will receive a glossy black front grille, as well as the rest of the dark exterior elements. Chevy’s signature nameplates are black, as are these 19-inch alloy wheels and two twin tailpipes. The salon also boasts a black theme with which the red line and gearshift knob contrast well.
Chevy’s best-selling crossover will go on sale this fall. The novelty will receive a 1.5- and 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that works with a 6- and 9-speed automatic transmission. As before, customers will be able to choose between front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Not so long ago, we wrote that the Chevy Suburban turned into a camper for recreation. The full-size SUV Chevrolet Suburban did an excellent job with camper functions. The car has got a roof, a berth and even a shower.
