Lincoln plans to launch a series of electric vehicles, one of which could be a compact electric crossover.
There are no details about the Lincoln electric crossover yet, but it is expected that it will become a modernized version of the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Using the existing model as a base will allow the American brand to save money and time on the development of its own electric car.
That is why an independent designer, known as KDesign AG, decided to demonstrate how a Lincoln electric car based on the Mustang Mach-E could look like by developing appropriate renderings.
Judging by the images, the compact electric cross received headlights, like the Lincoln Continental. In addition, you can pay attention to the fact that a chrome radiator grille appeared in front. As for the stern of the electric car, here are the original lights and the Lincoln logo on the trunk lid.
If Lincoln actually decides to release an electric crossover based on the Ford Mustang Mach-E, then it should be expected that it will receive significant external changes and will be more attractive than the instance shown on the renderings.
In addition, it was recently reported that Lincoln ceases production of the Continental. Recall that sales of this machine resumed in 2016 after a ten-year hiatus.
