Images of the future Tesla factory in Europe published on the webJuly 16, 2020
The image was shared by the founder of the company, Elon Musk, on his Twitter.
Today, Tesla founder Elon Musk posted on his Twitter a picture of his future factory, which is already under construction in the suburbs of Berlin. The plant will have an uncomplicated name, unlike Musk’s son, Gigafabrika 4.
Judging by the image, the plant will receive part of the energy from renewable sources – the roof of the factory is covered with solar panels, and a swimming pool, lawn and a recreation area will be equipped above the main entrance. In front of the entrance you can see a fairly large fountain made in an industrial style.
Recall that the construction of Gigafactory 4 began in 2020, but due to the outbreak of coronavirus infection, American specialists had to be recalled from the construction site. Currently, work at the plant is being restored – it is assumed that the launch of production will take place next year. A total of about $ 4 billion has been invested in the project. The plant will produce Tesla Model Y compact crossovers and Model 3 budget sedans, as well as battery kits for electric vehicles.
