The new model of the family of electric cars Audi e-tron is already preparing for its release, it will be presented on November 19 in Los Angeles. The rear of the car is noticeably changed. It is expected that the new product will be faster than past e-trons.
A month later in Los Angeles will present a sports version of the electric coupe in the back of an SUV. Of the design features, it is possible to note the inclined line of the roof of the car, as well as the rear, which is very different from previous versions of e-tron.
Unlike the Audi Q8 crossover, the novelty will not receive doors without window frames – they will be exactly the same as the past e-tron. Out of appearance, only the rear of the car has undergone changes. The trunk lid turned out to be embossed, in its part there is an imitation of a spoiler. As an option, the sports version will receive rear-view cameras instead of mirrors (you can see it in the images).
If the front of the car is almost identical to the previous e-tron, then the back is made in the fastback style. The output is a completely new unique design of the rear doors and lights.
The interior design is expected to reflect the design of the past e-tron.
The power plant has not changed. All the same two electric motors, issuing a total power of 355 horsepower, it is possible to briefly increase it to 402 horsepower in the “acceleration mode”. In it, the electric car accelerates from 0 to 96 km / h in 5.9 seconds. It is expected that the sports version will be even faster.
Sportback is capable of driving up to 348 kilometers without recharging. Audi also offers a fast charging system with a capacity of 150 kW, thanks to which in 10 minutes the battery will be charged to a power reserve of 87 kilometers.
