Hyundai will bring a new luxury modification of the Creta compact crossover called Diamond Edition to the Sao Paulo Motor Show in November.
Hyundai has declassified the most expensive modification of the Creta crossover. The public debut of the model will be held at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in November. According to preliminary data, the novelty will be called Diamond Edition. First of all, the car is intended for the Brazilian market. Whether the model will appear on sale in other countries is still unknown.
Judging by the photos, the car will receive a panoramic roof, modified bumpers and a spoiler. Inside, the crossover will install new seats trimmed with light-colored leather. New driver assistance systems and additional options are also expected.
In the Brazilian market, the novelty will be offered with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with a return of 130 hp. A 2.0-liter unit with a capacity of 166 hp will also be available. The first engine is paired with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, and the second is combined only with the automatic transmission.
At the moment, Hyundai has already begun to develop the second-generation Creta. The compact crossover will have a modification with a seven-seater sedan for the first time. According to preliminary data, the standard version of the crossover will appear in 2020, and the version with seven seats will appear a year later. The line of engines will include new gasoline and diesel engines with a working volume of 1.5 liters.
