Hyundai Tucson during the tests at the Nurburgring lost wheel nuts
May 5, 2020Tests of the updated Hyundai Tucson at the Nurburgring almost ended in an accident. At one of the turns of the conceptual model, 3 out of 5 wheel nuts from the front left wheel flew off.
Judging by the photos that were spread by Carscoops agency spies, the engineer testing the car promptly noticed that there were problems with the wheel and managed to pull over. After that, the vehicles that arrived in time for the concept towed it and, tightening the nuts, returned to the track again.
The pictures did not give any specifics regarding the design of the new Tucson – the car is still tightly disguised, for this reason it is still impossible to consider something other than a “2-story” front optics and a “chopped” relief on the sides.
With the change of generation, the cross will acquire a revolutionary interior in architecture, where the touch screen of the infotainment system will be located below the dashboard in the general cluster with the touch unit of the air conditioning system.
The new Hyundai Tucson should debut this fall, but the coronavirus and its consequences are likely to force the manufacturer to postpone the premiere of the novelty until 2021.
