Hyundai talked about its Styx crossoverMarch 5, 2019
The official presentation of the new South Korean “SUV” will be held at the New York Auto Show, which will be held in April 2019. Hyundai Styx is an inexpensive crossover.
A few minutes ago, a foreign publication published photos of the new Hyundai crossover. The pictures were taken during the final tests of the new model, called Styx.
According to the plans of the South Korean brand, the novelty will be sold in several car markets at once, thus, Hyundai Styx will become a global model.
In the exterior of the car there are recognizable features of current versions of crossovers Hyundai Santa Fe and Encino. Styx received a branded cascade false radiator grille, recognizable front optics, which received divisions into two levels, as well as a rather bulky rear spoiler.
In length, the South Korean crossover is 4 meters, and under its hood will be an atmospheric engine of 1.2 liters and an output of 83 hp. Buyers will be able to choose a turbocharged 1.0-liter unit, whose power is 118 hp, as well as a 1.5-liter diesel with 115 hp. The transmission will be offered 5- and 6-speed manual, robotized or automatic transmission. The all-wheel drive system Styx crossover will not be equipped.
Mass assembly of the new Hyundai Styx starts in the summer of 2019 in the United States, India and China. The minimum price for a novelty in India will be 700,000 rupees. For this money, the list of equipment of the car will include ABS, EBD, air conditioning, standard audio system, halogen headlights, 16-inch wheels and interior on the “rag”.
