Hyundai Styx presented on videoMarch 24, 2019
In anticipation of the entry into the market of the most budgetary crossover from the South Korean brand, the company decided to release an ad teaser. The model turned out not only budget, but also quite attractive in the modern world.
Already in April, a new crossover model from Hyundai will be presented at the New York Auto Show. The model will become the most budgetary crossover in the entire line of the company’s segment, nevertheless, it will preserve the modern style and design of the brand.
It is known that Styx will become a global model. SUV will present in the markets of India, China, South Korea and North and South America. Judging by the presented video and early photos, the car will be designed using the ideas and corporate style shown on the Hyundai Kona crossover, including a cascade radiator grille and recognizable “two-level” head optics.
As the power unit will be charged atmospheric 1.4-liter engine per 100 horsepower, as well as a 1.0-liter turbo engine at 118 horsepower. Later (maybe immediately) a turbo diesel version with a 1.4-liter engine and up to 115 horsepower will be offered. Together with all the units will be offered “mechanics” and “automatic”.
Mass assembly models in the United States, China and India will start soon. Sales will also begin in the near term.
