Hyundai starts taking orders for a seven-seater CretaJune 11, 2021
This SUV will only be available in India. For this country, Creta has changed not only the dimensions, but also the name – there the popular Korean crossover will be known as the Alcazar.
The seven-seater Hyundai Alcazar / Creta crossover can already be booked in the Indian car market. To pre-order, local customers of the brand are encouraged to leave a prepayment. How much the seven-seater crossover itself costs, unfortunately, has not yet been reported. It will be possible to ask the price of the new product only on June 18, when the automaker finally publishes the official price lists.
It is known that the grown-up Creta will hit the market in three versions: Prestige, Platinum and Signature. The most equipped crossover will receive a virtual “tidy”, multimedia with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless charging for a smartphone, all-round cameras, a spectacular panoramic sunroof, climate control system, etc.
The brand will also offer buyers in India a more comfortable SUV with six seats. The second row of seats will be replaced with separate chairs.
The “donor” for Hyundai Alcazar was the second generation Hyundai Creta crossover. Let us remind that Russians are just ahead of their acquaintance with this SUV.
The seven-seater Alcazar differs from the five-seater version of the crossover by an elongated rear overhang and an increased distance between the axles. On this model, it reaches 2.76 meters. This is 15 centimeters more than the standard Hyundai Creta.
In the engine range of new items, four power plants are announced. These are gasoline “aspirated” one and a half and two liters with a return of 115 and 159 horsepower, respectively, a 1.4-liter 140-horsepower turbo engine and a 1.5-liter turbodiesel producing 113 hp. Transmission – “mechanics” or “automatic”, both in six steps. But there is no all-wheel drive – only the front one.
