
Hyundai showed the updated crossover Tucson L
November 24, 2020The South Korean manufacturer has revealed the new Hyundai Tucson L for the Chinese market.
Hyundai unveiled its new Tucson L crossover for the Chinese market at the Guangzhou Auto Show. In addition to the extended wheelbase, the novelty has a number of differences from the regular version of the model. This includes the exhaust pipes spaced along the edges of the bumper, tinted headlights and taillights, as well as a large multimedia screen in the cabin.
The novelty has a length of 4,630 mm, a width of 1,865 mm, a height of 1,665 mm and a wheelbase of 2,755 mm. The differences from the European or American version also include chrome-plated rear-view mirror housings, glossy black pillars and silver protective covers. It is reported that the production of a lengthened version of the Hyundai Tucson L will be established at the Chinese Beijing-Hyundai plant.
The new Hyundai Tucson L will be powered by a 170 hp 1.5-liter turbo engine, which is paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. In addition, a 2-liter turbo engine with 240 forces will be available to the car, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The cost of the new item has not yet been announced.
