In India, they showed a restyled Hyundai Creta for the local car market. During the demonstration, the manufacturer announced the start of sales. The cross of the second generation is very similar to the Chinese ix25, while it differs in the interior and the line of units.
As expected, the “Indian” novelty received a cascading radiator grille, a multi-tiered head light and “2-story” taillights that have long brake lights. Cross for India stands out with a panoramic sunroof, new wheels and a radiator grill with a “cellular” structure.
The salon turned out to be simple and cheap: the large vertical touchscreen of the infotainment complex gave way to a simple screen with physical buttons and a separate climate control unit.
By default, cross for India has 2 airbags, air conditioning and a glove box with cooling. The flagship configuration of the model, in addition to a multimedia system with a large touchscreen and a monitor in the dashboard, was equipped with side airbags, cruise control, LED optics, a wireless charger, Bose speakers and much more.
Cars with automatic transmission are offered with the Traction Control Mode system, which makes it possible to configure the traction control system for different road surfaces. In addition, the car is equipped with Blue Link technology, which allows using the voice to control the sunroof, air conditioning system and many other options.
The model for India is equipped with a 115-horsepower naturally aspirated engine of 1.5 liters, a turbodiesel of 115 hp. the same volume and a 1.4-liter gas turbo engine. Paired with the first engine, a manual transmission or variator functions, with a second – manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission, with a third – a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-band robotic transmission with dual clutch.
Cross has already gone on sale. The cost after the upgrade remained the same: the standard version costs 999 thousand rupees, the most equipped version is sold at a price of 1.72 million rupees.
