Hyundai showed an electric car in retro styleAugust 22, 2019
South Korean automaker Hyundai has published the first teaser for the 45 EV concept, which will premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10, 2019. The design of the electric show car is inspired by the first models of the brand, released in the 70s of the last century.
Hyundai 45 EV is described in the company itself as “a symbolic milestone for the future design of electric vehicles”, which also demonstrates the development of the brand language of the brand Sensuous Sportiness – “sensual sportiness”. Judging by the image of the car, it combines retro-style elements and modern technology, and there is also a hint of “sportiness” – a roof spoiler.
There are no details about the technical stuffing of the concept yet. The only thing Hyundai mentioned was the 45 EV all-electric power plant.
A similar model – an electric hatchback with a retro design – has recently appeared in the arsenal of Honda. It is driven by a 110-kilowatt electric motor (150 forces and more than 300 Nm of torque), powered by a traction battery with a capacity of 35.5 kilowatt-hours. On one charge, the electric car travels about 200 kilometers.
In addition to its appearance, the vehicle featured five screens, which display data on the operation of the installation and the image from external cameras. Honda e is already available for order to residents of several countries, including the UK, Germany, France and Norway.
