Hyundai Santa Fe will get a salon in the style of the new Mercedes-Benz S-ClassMay 20, 2020
The restyled Hyundai Santa Fe for China will differ in a differently designed front panel, according to spy photos that were distributed on Tuesday, May 19, on the Internet.
Moreover, the main element of the interior of the cross will be a large vertical screen in the style of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W223 series.
The photo shows that the front panel in the Hyundai Santa Fe will almost completely change. The central deflectors will go up, and instead of them they will install a vertical touchscreen that smoothly “flows” into the frame of the center console. The updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class will have similar architecture.
The Chinese debut of the current Hyundai Santa Fe, which has a “2-story” front end, was held at the Guangzhou auto show the year before last. Externally, the cross is similar to the global model, but its wheelbase is increased by 100 mm, and the total – 160 mm.
At the back, the Chinese Santa Fe is distinguished by a C-shaped lantern connected by a jumper and a straight side line of the side glazing. A feature of cross-country for China is the presence of a biometric fingerprint driver identification system.
The Chinese Hyundai Santa Fe is equipped with a 245-horsepower turbo engine with direct injection of 2.0 liters. Transmission – 8-speed automatic transmission. The production of crossovers was established at Beijing Hyundai, a joint venture of BAIC Motor and Hyundai Motor Company.
In addition, it has recently become known that Hyundai and Samsung will unite to produce an electric car with a large power reserve. According to assumptions, the new electric car on a single charge will be able to travel about 800 km.
