Hyundai Santa Cruz went to test againSeptember 30, 2020
Auto Post Korea has shared new spy shots of the partially camouflaged Hyundai Santa Cruz pickup.
Santa Cruz is being tested on South Korean highways. In the pictures you can see the body shape of the 5-seater model, as well as the branded grille, lighting technology, the design of the rims and side mirrors. However, the cargo area itself is not very large.
It is expected that the pickup will be developed on the basis of the fourth generation Tucson. The new model will also acquire a parametric design in the style of the latest brand innovations.
According to assumptions, the car will receive a 295-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 diesel engine. The pickup, in particular, will be available with all-wheel drive. Note that the new product will begin to collect next year. The production of the model will be established at the Hyundai car factory in the USA.
Recall that the presentation of the first concept of a Korean pickup truck took place back in 2015. In turn, two years later, in 2017, the project received approval from the Hyundai management, and at the end of 2018, the design and construction of the novelty were finalized.
In addition, more recently, detailed information about the power units for the updated Ford F-150 pickup appeared. It should be emphasized that the American company is going to show a high-performance variant of the model called the Raptor.
