Hyundai Saga crossover officially unveiledNovember 22, 2018

The South Korean automaker – the company Hyundai, presented at the São Paulo Motor Show a new conceptual model of the crossover. The novelty, which was called Saga EV, is equipped with the same power plant as the electrical version of the compact Kona crossover.
It is about a 150 kW or 204 hp engine, as well as a 64 kWh battery.
According to representatives of the brand, at full charge, Hyundai Saga EV will be able to drive about 470 km. Well, in order to charge the battery to a level of 80%, you need only 54 minutes.
It is reported that the specialists of Hyundai North America, located in the state of California (USA), worked on the exterior design of the South Korean novelty. There, by the way, the question of the appearance for the Hyundai HB20X crossover (aka i20 Active) was decided.
According to representatives of the automobile brand Hyundai, the serial version of the all-electric crossover, which is based on the i20 model, may be presented as early as next year. Most likely, sales will start in 2019.
Finally we want to note that the South Korean company Hyundai attaches great importance to the development of environmentally friendly vehicles. According to official data, following the results of last month of this year, a record number of hybrid models were sold worldwide. We are talking about 7,139 such cars – this figure is 191% more than during the same period last year.
