Hyundai Palisade will get a winter driving modeNovember 22, 2018
Published video from the test of the crossover Hyundai Palisade in the Swedish Arieplug
Hyundai showed engineers how to test prototypes of the large Palisade crossover at low temperatures. The winter part of the off-road vehicle tests takes place on a frozen lake near the Swedish city of Arjeplog near the Arctic Circle.
The purpose of the test is to verify the effectiveness of the winter mode of operation of the traction control system. In the case of slipping or hanging out diagonally, the crossover redistributes the moment to the loaded wheel, thereby allowing difficult sections of the route to pass. The role of interwheel locks is probably performed by the system of exchange rate stability, braking the slipping wheel.
Exterior Hyundai Palisade revealed a little earlier. The first official photo of the Hyundai Palisade was at the disposal of the publication Autoreview a few days after the announcement of the name of the new crossover. According to preliminary information, the new Korean flagship will receive a V6 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
