Hyundai officially introduced the new Hyundai ix25October 21, 2019
The Korean automaker has officially published information about the second generation of the Hyundai ix25 crossover.
The concept of the new Hyundai ix25 was introduced back in April at the Shanghai Motor Show. After that, spy shots of the model regularly appeared on the network, and in early October, the first “live” snapshots of the compact crossover were published. Now, branded images and a short video have got on the Network, in addition, the characteristics of the crossover are published on the “celestial” Hyundai website.
The automaker even published the dimensions of the novelty, which are 4300x1790x1620 mm with a wheelbase of 2610 mm. Thus, the second generation of the compact crossover is 20 mm longer and 7 mm higher than available now. The car also received multi-tiered front and rear optics, and in the middle of the luggage door flaunts a narrow strip of LED brake light.
The interior has also been significantly redesigned and boasts a new virtual instrument panel and a truncated steering wheel. Duct deflectors have moved to the top of the front panel. The multimedia system received a large vertical touchscreen, which is now also responsible for climate control in the cabin and other functions of the car. Also, a washer is located on the tunnel next to the new transmission selector – it is probably responsible for changing driving modes.
In the engine range, the only unit so far is designated – a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a return of 115 hp. a pair of it will be a 6-speed manual transmission or variator.
