Hyundai made a luxury version of the new Santa Fe

The Hyundai Santa Fe crossover of the fourth generation, presented last February, received the top-end configuration of Inspiration. It features a rich interior trim, additional noise insulation and slightly modified bodywork.

Externally, the new package is the easiest to identify on the plastic side panels painted in the body color – on an ordinary Santa Fe they are made of unpainted plastic. Changed the shape of the silver apron under the front bumper: it now occupies the full width of the front end.

Other features – chrome grille, silver patches on the exterior mirrors and 19-inch wheels of a special design. Under the rear bumper, you can see the two tailpipes spaced apart at the corners (instead of two on the starboard side of the ordinary Santa Fe) and a small protective panel.

The main differences are in the interior: the cladding of the chairs with quilted leather of dark-burgundy color and an inset of suede. The noise insulation is reinforced with double-layer front windows. At the disposal of the driver appeared paddle shift petals. The luxury version is also equipped with other tires: instead of rubber made in Korea, German tires are used Continental.

In South Korea, Santa Fe in the bundled Inspiration can be ordered with any of the three engines available there: gasoline two-liter turbo engine and diesels in volume 2.0 and 2.2 liters. The most affordable gasoline engine: this car costs 35.8 million won – this is 27 percent more expensive than the base Santa Fe with the same engine.

The Hyundai Santa Fe crossover of the fourth generation was presented last February. The main difference from the predecessor is a radical appearance in a new corporate style with a “two-story” optics, previously shown on the crossovers Kona and Nexo.

Technical features – a more durable body, a new all-wheel drive system and advanced electronic assistants. But the whole gamut of motors is borrowed from a third-generation car: diesel engines with a volume of 2.0 and 2.2 liters, a gasoline two-liter turbo engine, and an atmospheric 2.4 for the American market.
