Hyundai has introduced a new generation Sonata sedan hybrid. The car received a solar system, located on the roof. It is used to recharge the battery and increases the mileage on a single charge. The company said that, recharging in this way six hours a day, one can increase the annual mileage by 1,300 km.
Also, the novelty is equipped with a 2.0-liter GDi HEV engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The total power of the car – 195 horsepower. The average fuel consumption in the combined cycle is at around 4.97 liters per 100 kilometers.

The machine uses a corporate style called Sensuous Sportiness. For the first time this direction was shown on the concept car Le Fil Rouge, presented in 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show.
