Such a SUV will not be able to boast the function of charging from the network and the ability to move on one electric traction, however, its price can be called very democratic. The novelty will join the Kona family, which already includes cars with a traditional ICE and a fully electric modification. The Hyundai Kona Hybrid drives the GDI Kappa four-cylinder petrol engine with a 1.6-liter displacement and 106 hp. A couple of him is a synchronous electric motor with permanent magnets, issuing 43.5 hp and 170 Nm of torque. A lithium-ion polymer battery with a capacity of 1.56 kW / h also becomes part of the power plant.
All this allows the hybrid to show a very economical fuel consumption: 4.3 liters for every 100 kilometers. Acceleration from standstill to 100 km / h takes 11.2 seconds, and the maximum speed reaches a mark of 160 km / h. As a transmission, the manufacturer chose a 6AKPP with double clutch.
Inside the car appeared advanced multimedia with a large 10.25-inch display, as well as an electromechanical hand brake, which debuted on the Kona Electric electric car. The novelty also relies on original alloy wheels for 16 or 18 inches, a new shade of the Blue Lagoon body and a special palette of colors for the interior. Europeans can already place an order for the Kona Hybrid.
