The company Hyundai has started road tests of the sports modification of the hatchback i30. Spy photos from the tests were published by Autocar. Judging by the photos, the hatchback will receive aggressive bumpers, LED optics, other side skirts, a sport exhaust system and 18-inch wheels fitted to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. The car will also be equipped with modernized shock absorbers and another suspension.

Technical characteristics of i30 N-Line are still unknown. Most likely, the engine line will include a gasoline three-cylinder turbo engine with a working volume of one liter of 120 hp, and a 140-hp 1.4-liter unit. The diesel line will be represented by 1.6-liter engines with a capacity of 110 and 136 horsepower.

Previously, Hyundai introduced a charged i30 N. Hot-hatch equipped with a two-liter supercharged four-cylinder, which is available in two stages of forcing and with a six-speed manual gearbox. The basic version develops 250 hp and 353 Nm of torque, which allows the hot-hatch to accelerate from the ground to 100 km / h in 6.4 seconds.

The top version, the engine of which produces 275 hp, is able to gain the first 100 km/h by 0.3 seconds faster. In both cases, the maximum speed is forcibly limited to electronics at 250 km per hour.
