Hyundai has shown a new compact crossover on videoMarch 29, 2019
Hyundai has published a video-compact new Venue crossover that will become the smallest SUV in the South Korean brand. The premiere of the car will be held on April 17 at the motor show in New York.
Global crossover sales are expected to begin in mid-2019. The top versions of Hyundai Venue will be offered with a panoramic roof, a multimedia complex with a touch screen, as well as “first-in-class” ventilated seats.
According to preliminary data, the 1.4-liter petrol and diesel engines will be included in the crossover’s engine range, which can operate with a six-speed manual gearbox. In addition, as an alternative, a one-liter three-cylinder turbo unit will be available, capable of operating in tandem with a seven-step robotized transmission.
Among the electronic “helpers”: an automatic emergency braking system, the control function of the “dead” zones and the system of help when starting on the rise.
In addition, at the New York motor show debuts a new crossover brand Kia, which will be called Tusker. The model will be built on the same modular platform as the next-generation Hyundai Creta. On this chassis, it will be possible to create cars with a seven-seater cabin, but the Tusker will be offered exclusively with five seats.
