Hyundai has published a teaser for the new Grandeur 2020 model yearOctober 23, 2019
A recently published teaser video shows the LED lights of the updated Hyundai Grandeur sedan (aka Azera), which are inside the false radiator grille. Presentation of new items is expected next month.
Hyundai has officially stopped selling the Azera sedan (aka Grandeur) in some automotive markets due to rather low demand, but in its home country, the car is still for sale. This sedan should be updated very soon, and a couple of minutes ago, the press service of Hyundai published the first teaser video dedicated to this car.
Despite the fact that this video does not tell us much about the new product, we can see some parts of the exterior of the car. What attracted our attention the most was the backlight radiator grille. We have already seen this “chip” on some models of the Bavarian BMW, and, obviously, it can turn into another strange design trend in the modern automotive industry. From this “first look” at the Grandeur 2020 model year, we still have to admit that the LED elements behind the bars look good.
At the moment, there is no data whether Grandeur will be a completely new model or is it just a small update of the current generation of cars, which was shown in 2016. The official presentation of the new items is scheduled for next month.
Insiders tell us that the South Korean mid-size model may receive a new engine. This is the 2.5-liter Theta 3 engine, which debuted in the eighth generation Hyundai Sonata sedan and could replace the current 2.4-liter Theta 2. 2.4 GDi currently offers 187 horsepower (241 Nm). Three V6 engines will also be available for selection, which are expected to be carried over to the upgraded model without significant changes.
Not so long ago, we wrote that Hyundai began pre-sales of the new ix25. Official dealerships have already begun to take orders for a future novelty. But so far only in the Celestial market, where the model is known as ix25. The second generation borrowed some of the solutions from the flagship Palisade.
