The all-new Tucson is bigger and more spacious, and also received a new engine range.

The all-new Hyundai Tucson SUV is the serial embodiment of the Hyundai Design Center, expressing its evolving sensual sportiness of its global design identity. The new model has received a number of petrol and hybrid modifications, and sales will begin in the US market in the spring of 2021. Plug-in hybrid versions will be available to customers in a few months.

The interior of the newest car has become more spacious. A wide dash ridge blends into the doors, while a vertically oriented, fully integrated center panel slopes down to the console. Ambient interior lighting has up to 64 colors and 10 brightness levels.

Three new technologies will be available in the cabin, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen freed from hard buttons, a fully digital instrument panel and a touch-sensitive climate control unit, which, incidentally, provides diffused airflow to the front passengers. This indirect, diffuse ventilation system reduces the possibility of direct airflow and is unique in the automotive industry.

The new SUV embodies what Hyundai designers call “parametric dynamics,” with kinetic, jewel-like surface detailing that underscores Tucson’s distinct identity in the crowded SUV segment.

The new car boasts a wide range of engines: Tucson offers both a 2.5-liter direct injection Smartstream petrol engine and a 1.6-liter direct injection turbocharged hybrid engine and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The new 2.5-liter engine boasts an output of 187 hp. This motor is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
