Hyundai has created a new generation air conditionerJuly 28, 2020
An innovative installation with automatic blowing will be able to protect against specific odors and prevent the growth of bacteria. In the current environment, the function is very useful.
Hyundai Motor engineers are working on a next-generation air conditioner that will compare favorably with today’s prevalent “climate” control systems. So, thanks to the “After-Blow” technology, a new development from Hyundai will be able to fight the spread of bacteria and eliminate unpleasant odors.
Car owners may encounter it on especially hot days when the climate system is turned on. It’s all the fault of moisture accumulated on the radiator. And this is a very fertile environment for all kinds of bacteria. The developed algorithm solves this problem by running the blowdown for 10 minutes. The operation is monitored by a battery charge sensor.
The second technology is called “Multi-Air Mode”, which is able to redistribute air flows for greater comfort for the driver and his passengers – it all depends on specific preferences. At the same time, such an advanced air conditioner monitors the air quality in the car.
The system shares its observations with the help of color indication. When an orange signal appears, the system starts cleaning mode. If this procedure does not help, then the car owner needs to change the filters.
The novelty will be tested on new models of Hyundai, Genesis and KIA.
