Hyundai announces new Grandeur teaser
October 23, 2019In the domestic market of the brand, the Azera / Grandeur model is popular and is preparing for an update.
Hyundai has just released the first teasing video that reveals some of the new items. So, the teaser video shows parts of the exterior of the car, including a radiator grill with backlight. We have already seen this feature on some BMW models, and, obviously, it can turn into another strange design trend in the automotive industry. I must admit that the LED elements behind the bars look good.
At the moment, it is not known how much the design of the car will change. It is unlikely that the Grandeur 2020 will be a completely new model, since the current generation debuted in 2016. Facelift in the middle of the cycle looks much more logical.
It is assumed that the model will receive a new 2.5-liter Theta 3 engine, which debuted with the eighth generation Hyundai Sonata. The 2.4 GDi engine is currently an optional base transmission and delivers 187 horsepower and 241 Newton meters of torque. Three V6 engines are also available, which are expected to be carried over to the upgraded model without major changes.
