Hyundai announced the debut of the new ix25February 1, 2020
The debut teasers of the Indian version of the new generation Hyundai ix25 of the new generation appeared on the network, the debut of which will take place on February 6 at the Auto Expo in Delhi. In the future, the appearance of the same crossover is expected in other car markets.
Judging by the teaser images, the outwardly “global” Creta will strongly resemble the “Chinese” ix25 model – it will be possible to distinguish the modification for India only by the panoramic sunroof (in the flagship configuration), the design of the rims and the radiator grille having a “cellular” »Structure.
In the interior, most likely, no changes will occur. The maximum that will change in comparison with the Chinese variation is materials and finishes that complement the truncated sports steering wheel, infotainment complex with a large vertical touch screen, a washer selector for switching driving modes and other elements of the machine’s functional equipment.
The line of engines of the (Indian) modification of the Creta model, which is represented on the Chinese market only by a 115-horsepower naturally aspirated engine with a volume of 1.5 liters, will certainly be supplemented by a 1.5-liter turbodiesel and a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline power unit, the characteristics of which, according to apparently voiced during the demonstration. The range of transmissions will include a 6-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed automatic transmission, a 7-band robotic transmission with dual clutch and a variator.
The novelty, according to assumptions, depending on the configuration will cost from 1 to 1.6 million rupees.
