It can produce more than 800 horsepower.
If you want to buy a SUV with high performance, and a Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo with a capacity of 541 hp. (404 kW) will not satisfy your taste, we have good news. On the eve of the web appeared spy photos of a powerful hybrid version of the luxury coupe-style crossover. All the preliminary details seem pretty intriguing.
At first glance, it may show that in the photo there is a common prototype Cayenne Coupe Turbo S, but if you look at the rear bumper, then two round pipes are hidden under it. Keep in mind the two side pipes are fake.
According to unofficial information, this exhaust circuit hints that a new power unit has been installed under the hood. It is assumed that the novelty is equipped with an upgraded hybrid system, which is also currently being tested at Uber-Panamera.
Recall that currently in the Cayenne family the most powerful model is the Turbo S E-Hybrid, which has a peak power of 670 hp. (500 kW). The power unit includes a 5.0-liter V8 rated at 541 hp. (403 kW) twin-turbocharged and 134 hp electric motor (100 kW).
Of course, nothing has been confirmed so far, and the only evidence for the hotter Cayenne Coupe at the moment is these spy shots. Porsche is experimenting or really planning the production of a super hybrid, only time will tell.
