Hybrid BMW X2 caught photographers without camouflageSeptember 6, 2019
The presentation of the hybrid crossover will take place soon. A test prototype without any camouflage has already been seen on the roads. The design is not much different from the regular version.
Photospies managed to detect on the roads a hybrid version of the BMW X2. This is evidenced by a special sticker on the trunk lid, as well as the hatch of the charging connector on the front left wing. It is very interesting that the compact crossover fell without any camouflage, this allowed us to consider the future novelty in detail.
The most noticeable changes were the LED lights of the daytime running lights of a modified design, as well as the only bell of the exhaust system. Other differences could not be considered.
Hybrid BMW X2 2020 model year will receive a gas turbo engine with a capacity of up to 125 horsepower, working in tandem with an electric motor for 95 horsepower. The total power will be 220 horsepower, which is fully consistent with the hybrid BMW X1 xDrive25e.
The all-wheel drive system is implemented due to the electric motor. A battery with a capacity of 9.7 kW * hours is used as a power source.
